About this event

Through the training, tribal health staff will learn to: 1) access publically-available data sources and pull or request relevant tribal data; 2) process data into a variety of charts; 3) report data in the form of a tribal-specific Community Health Profile (CHP); and, 4) “translate” data into talking points for use in policy, grants, and other venues. Over the course of the training, participants will create a CHP for their tribe that includes demographic, maternal and child health (MCH), infectious disease, and mortality (leading cause of death) data.

Funding for travel-related costs is available from GPTEC.
